Bread and Cookies

We are proud to collaborate with several small-scale family farms and artisans to offer our members the widest array of local, real food, all year round.  One such collaboration is with the Rau family.  Karl Rau and his family own and operate 'Good Bread' bakery and make some amazing breads and cookies.  We're happy to work with the Rau family and pleased to offer their wonderful baked goods to our members.

To learn more about 'Good Bread' and the Rau's Bakery, please visit Good Bread.

We offer 'Good Bread' to our membership through our Member's Choice Share.  Each week our Members receive an email letting them know what is available from our gardens.  Orders for 'Good Bread' are made via email and we deliver your locally made, real bread and/or cookies to one of our convenient drop-spots, also available at our farm and at any farmer's markets we attend or our roving farm stand.  Members who order bread and cookies from the Rau family agree to our policy on 'Good Bread', available on our policies page, or see below.

Good Bread Share Option Policies

(By participating in the collaboration between Parker Family Farm and Good Bread the member acknowledges that he/she has read and agrees to the following policies.)

Parker Family Farm is providing Good Bread to our members as a service in an effort to offer more local, real food to more people in our community. The role of Parker Family Farm regarding Good Bread Breads and Cookies is to deliver the items to members who have chosen to add those options to their Beyond Organic Member's Choice Shares. Parker Family Farm has chosen to partner with the Rau Family (makers of Good Bread) because we feel that the bread and baked goods are of top quality and satisfy our interest in supporting local farmers and artisans. However, Parker Family Farm does not guarantee the quality, freshness, safety or practices of Good Bread products. As is the case with all of our local food programs, we encourage all of our members to investigate the sources and people behind their food. You may visit the Rau family website by clicking the appropriate link above and contact the makers of Good Bread for more information about their ingredients, practices and philosophies.
